【教學(xué)內(nèi)容】
本課時(shí)主要內(nèi)容分為讀和寫(xiě)兩部分。第一部分要求學(xué)生閱讀圖片和文段并回答兩個(gè)問(wèn)題。第二部分為有意義的以讀促寫(xiě)活動(dòng)。具體分為兩個(gè)步驟:第一步是為文中提到的小朋友從表格中選擇適當(dāng)?shù)慕煌ńㄗh,第二步為朋友制作適當(dāng)?shù)慕煌ńㄗh海報(bào),從而培養(yǎng)學(xué)生正確的交通安全意識(shí)。
【學(xué)情分析】
六年級(jí)英語(yǔ)教學(xué)在學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)生涯中啟著承上啟下的作用, 即是五年級(jí)英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)的進(jìn)一步衍生,也是為初中英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)奠定堅(jiān)實(shí)的基礎(chǔ)。學(xué)生在本單元前面的學(xué)習(xí)中已經(jīng)熟練掌握了各種上學(xué)方式的表達(dá),對(duì)于相關(guān)的交通規(guī)則也有所了解。所以這一課時(shí)是對(duì)前面已知知識(shí)的一種綜合運(yùn)用及拓展。
【教學(xué)目標(biāo)】
學(xué)生通過(guò)本節(jié)課的頭腦風(fēng)暴活動(dòng)復(fù)習(xí)鞏固自己已知的各種上學(xué)方式,激活已有的背景知識(shí)和儲(chǔ)備詞匯;通過(guò)閱讀訓(xùn)練問(wèn)題的設(shè)置,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生能夠在語(yǔ)篇中提取有效信息的能力,并能夠?qū)?xì)節(jié)進(jìn)行適當(dāng)?shù)耐评恚辉趶?fù)習(xí)鞏固的基礎(chǔ)上根據(jù)所給出的安全海報(bào)幫助學(xué)生完成自己的海報(bào)設(shè)計(jì)。
【教學(xué)方法】
為了更好的突出重點(diǎn),突破難點(diǎn)。本節(jié)課我采用小組合作的學(xué)習(xí)方法,充分發(fā)揮學(xué)生的小組協(xié)作能力和自主創(chuàng)新能力。培養(yǎng)學(xué)生勇于提出問(wèn)題,共同研討解決問(wèn)題的學(xué)習(xí)主動(dòng)性,做到把課堂真正的還給學(xué)生。
【教學(xué)重點(diǎn)】
學(xué)生通過(guò)本節(jié)課的頭腦風(fēng)暴活動(dòng)復(fù)習(xí)鞏固自己已知的各種上學(xué)方式,激活已有的背景知識(shí)和儲(chǔ)備詞匯;通過(guò)閱讀訓(xùn)練問(wèn)題的設(shè)置,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生能夠在語(yǔ)篇中提取有效信息的能力,并能夠?qū)?xì)節(jié)進(jìn)行適當(dāng)?shù)耐评?

在復(fù)習(xí)鞏固的基礎(chǔ)上根據(jù)所給出的安全海報(bào)幫助學(xué)生完成自己的海報(bào)設(shè)計(jì)。做到對(duì)本單元知識(shí)的融會(huì)貫通。

【教學(xué)步驟】
Step 1.Warming up ( 8 mins )
1. Greeting with each other.
Good morning boys and girls! How are you?
2. Let’s chant
How do you go to school,
Sometimes by bike.
Sometimes by car.
But I never go by train.
How do you get to Paris?
Never on foot, never by bike. Always by car, bus or plane.
【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】通過(guò)歌曲開(kāi)始課堂教學(xué)一方面提高學(xué)生的課堂注意力和學(xué)習(xí)興趣,另一方面可以通過(guò)歌唱的過(guò)程對(duì)所學(xué)內(nèi)容進(jìn)行鞏固復(fù)習(xí)。
3. 閃視訓(xùn)練flash visual training:When you see the pictures or listen the voice, speak them loudly.
On foot by bus by taxi by plane by ship by subway by train
Yellow light—slow down and stop red light—stop and wait green light—go
【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】通過(guò)閃視訓(xùn)練,使得學(xué)生能夠匯總自己所知的各種上學(xué)方式,回顧所知的交通規(guī)則,激活已有的背景知識(shí)和儲(chǔ)備詞匯。為進(jìn)一步實(shí)際運(yùn)用做好準(zhǔn)備。
4. 對(duì)話(huà)操練 practice the dialogue. (by using the map)
T: ok! Do you like our school? And how do you come to school?
S:……
T:Ok! This time please practice the dialogue in groups.
A: How do you come to school?
B: Usually, ……. Sometimes…….
【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】運(yùn)用思維導(dǎo)圖,清晰的呈現(xiàn)各種不同的交通方式。讓學(xué)生結(jié)合自身實(shí)際情況,小組內(nèi)進(jìn)行對(duì)話(huà)練習(xí),不僅是對(duì)學(xué)生已有知識(shí)的一種復(fù)習(xí),也能提高學(xué)生的實(shí)際運(yùn)用能力。
Step 2. 閱讀前準(zhǔn)備活動(dòng)before reading (10 mins)
1. 圖片導(dǎo)入leading:show the picture of the text and ask students some questions.
T:Who is he? S: He’s Wu Yifan’s grandpa.
T: He’s ill. What does Robin want to do? He read a magazine to him. What’s it about?
【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】運(yùn)用課本中的圖片內(nèi)容進(jìn)行導(dǎo)入,一方面,學(xué)生對(duì)于圖片中人物較為熟悉,便于學(xué)生理解。另一方面,課本圖片緊扣本節(jié)課所授內(nèi)容,貼近主題。
2. 展示課本中的其他圖片引發(fā)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)興趣Show the pictures of the text
T: Let’s read the magazine together. Look there are some students. How do they go to school? Do you come to school on foot? How about you? Can you come to school by ship? Let’s have a look.
3. 結(jié)合圖片熟悉相關(guān)地點(diǎn)及乘車(chē)方式Show the three pictures, and teach students the places’ name and the different ways. Teach students the new words: Munich, Germany, by sled, by ferry, Papa Westray, Scotland by using the pictures.
【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】在閱讀前,提前處理文本中出現(xiàn)的新地點(diǎn)和新的出行方式,為學(xué)生下一步閱讀掃清障礙,降低閱讀難度,提高學(xué)生的閱讀興趣。
Step 3. 閱讀中活動(dòng)及操練 while reading ( 10mins )
1. 首次播放課文動(dòng)畫(huà)抓住重點(diǎn)Play the flash, let students underline the places and circle the different ways.
2. 第二次播放完成課后練習(xí)First, explain the two questions below.
Second, let students read the passage by themselves and try to answer the two questions.
1) How many ways to go to school can you find in the text?
2) Does everyone in the text go to school?
3. 第三次播放跟讀練習(xí)play the flash again and read after it .
4. 小組討論上學(xué)方式的建議from the text we know different ways to go to school. This time please discuss in groups, and give them some suggestions about traffic rules.

Slow down and stop at a yellow light 黃燈減速停一停
keep to the right 靠右行駛

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】在討論環(huán)節(jié)讓學(xué)生給出相關(guān)建議,除了可以參考課本原有內(nèi)容以外,還應(yīng)該結(jié)合實(shí)際生活情況,讓學(xué)生發(fā)散思維拓展表達(dá)思路,提前預(yù)設(shè)相關(guān)規(guī)則降低學(xué)生作答難度。
Step 4. 閱讀后活動(dòng)及拓展練習(xí) after reading ( 12 mins )
活動(dòng)一: 制作海報(bào) ( students material )
Our school will have a traffic show, can you make a poster for our students?
Each group make a poster by using the traffic rules which they discussed before. They can use the suggestions on page 19.
Then show their poster to other groups.
活動(dòng)二:我是小交警
1. According to the traffic rules on your poster, give classmates some suggestions about the traffic rules. You can write it like this:
Hello! Boys and girls! I’m_______. I’m a traffic police. Today I will give you some advice of the ways to go to school.
If you go to school on foot , you must stop at a red light. Don’t go at a red light.
If you go to school________, you must_________________. Don’t____________.
I hope everything goes well! Thank you!

3.家庭作業(yè)(課下延伸): give some suggestions for your parents and tell them the traffic rules.
【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】活動(dòng)一:海報(bào)制作不僅是學(xué)生對(duì)于上一環(huán)節(jié)中討論結(jié)果的一個(gè)直觀(guān)的展示,更加在一定程度上訓(xùn)練了學(xué)生的創(chuàng)作能力?;顒?dòng)二是活動(dòng)一海報(bào)制作的一個(gè)拓展讓學(xué)生通過(guò)做小交警這一活動(dòng),提高學(xué)生的寫(xiě)作能力和語(yǔ)言的綜合運(yùn)用能力,是本節(jié)課教學(xué)活動(dòng)的一個(gè)提升。

本節(jié)課是一節(jié)閱讀寫(xiě)作課,在設(shè)計(jì)本節(jié)課的教學(xué)環(huán)節(jié)時(shí)我分為閱讀前,閱讀中和閱讀后三個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)。其中,閱讀前和閱讀中兩個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)側(cè)重于通過(guò)各項(xiàng)活動(dòng)加深學(xué)生對(duì)于課文內(nèi)容的理解。閱讀后這一環(huán)節(jié)主要培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的語(yǔ)言運(yùn)用能力和輸出能力。“制作海報(bào)”和“我是小交警”活動(dòng)從各個(gè)方面提高了學(xué)生的綜合語(yǔ)言運(yùn)用能力和個(gè)性化的展示能力。
